Hot Hot Hot!

When I say it's hot here, I'm not exaggerating at all. It's supposed to be around 100 degrees today and tomorrow. This isn't just heat- it's dangerous heat. I took my dog out to use the bathroom this morning. We were out for literally 5 minutes and when we came back inside, I was covered in sweat. Being 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant, I'm probably in the "high risk" category for this heat, but I can't imagine how vulnerable the elderly and those with compromised immune systems must be. It's not like I have a reason to go outside today, anyway, since my husband is borrowing my car. That's another issue- his car doesn't have A/C. He's so used to it by now that it doesn't seem to bother him. He's better than I am. I wouldn't be as tolerant of it.
