Well, life as we know it has changed! It's a good thing, of course, since we now have a 2 1/2 week old. The past 17 days have been a mix of emotions- joy, nervousness, fatigue, disbelief. Ellie Paige came into the world on July 24 at 2:17 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 19.5 in. long. Labor and delivery was very easy for me. It took awhile, but it was painless, thanks to a lovely epidural. I am a huge promoter of epidurals now! Anyhow, Ellie has been adjusting to life outside the womb. She has her moments, but for the most part she's doing really well. She's gaining weight and I feel like she looks a lot different now than when she was born. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She's a cutie. :)
I know this was a short post, but I've got to go check on my baby!
